Active travel path on Ffordd Penrhos in Bangor

Date: 05/12/2023

Cyngor Gwynedd has secured £1.2 million of Welsh Government support to develop an active travel path on Ffordd Penrhos in Bangor.

Work has got underway in recent weeks on the first phase of the scheme between the junctions of Coed Mawr and Coed y Maes.

The scheme will help to cut down on car journeys in the area with significant improvements that will encourage people to walk and cycle to school, to get to work, hospital and so on.
