Busnes@Gwynedd and the employment initiative Gwaith Gwynedd are holding drop-in sessions across Gwynedd. All businesses and individual are welcome to drop by for a chat. This is a great opportunity to learn more about how Cyngor Gwynedd can help with your business and recruitment needs.

To celebrate the Eisteddfod coming to Llŷn ac Eifionydd, Busnes@Gwynedd offered 6 cabins free of charge to local businesses that had not traded at the Eisteddfod before. After a competitive process 13 businesses were successful:

On the 9/08/2023 it was Prosperous Gwynedd Day within the Cyngor Gwynedd tent and this led to an exiting Busnes@Gwynedd panel where Daloni Metcalfe and Lesley Griffiths MP, Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, spoke with local businesses Meian, Mary Gwen and Dylunio Wyn about their products, services and their relationship with the Welsh language.   

The Cyngor Gwynedd Business Day was a unique opportunity for businesses and organisations operating in Gwynedd to come together to meet, learn, share and develop new ideas and strategies.

The event provided a comprehensive overview of the business climate in Gwynedd and the various types of support available to help businesses navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

The morning session featured three local businesses sharing their stories of innovation, challenges faced, and opportunities found.

In response to the cost-of-living crisis and increased cost of running a business, a webinar was held for small to medium sized businesses located in Gwynedd that looked at ways of improving business efficiency to reduce costs and ways of increasing revenue.

In response to the cost of living crisis and current economic climate, the Council's Business Support Unit recently hosted a webinar for local businesses offering advice on business efficiency measures which could reduce their overheads and carbon emissions.
