Purpose of the Fund

The Fund is available to young people between the ages of 18 and 25 who were born, or who live in the Caernarfonshire area (Arfon and Dwyfor) who need financial support (beyond what their parents or guardians could be expected to provide) to continue with their education so as to quailfy for a specific career. The Fund cannot Support general applications from students, a clear link is needed between the course/training/degree and the career the young person aims to qualify for.

 As the Fund's income is from investments the funding available varies from year to year and the size of the grants will also vary according to the number of applications received.

Students will be able to receive the scholarship during each academic year of study as long as they apply annually.
