Grant for charities - Welsh Church Fund

The aim of the Church Fund is to promote and support activities by charities which will benefit the people of Gwynedd and, enrich the local communities.

Who can apply for the grant?

Any registered charity can apply for this grant from Gwynedd Council’s Church Fund, including:

local eisteddfodau
fine arts
education establishments
sport and leisure establishments
conservation organisations
charities who support sick or disabled people

How much money is available?

It is possible to apply for any sum of money although the individual grants usually awarded are between £100 and £3,000.

How to apply

To apply, you will need to complete the application form / application form and return it preferably via email to Cistgwynedd@gwynedd.llyw.cymru or by post to the address noted on the form itself.

We strongly recommend that you discuss your application with the Community Support Officer before submitting your application.
