Cyngor Gwynedd's Social Services Communication Questionnaire

Date: 13/11/2023

Cyngor Gwynedd’s Social Services would like to hear from service users, their families and residents on what their thoughts are about the services’ current communication arrangements and the best ways to share information in future.

Councillor Dilwyn Morgan, Cyngor Gwynedd’s Cabinet Member for Adults, Health and Wellbeing, said:

"Cyngor Gwynedd’s Social Services have a statutory obligation to protect and promote the welfare of children and adults. The services empower residents to manage their own lives, promote independence, support social inclusion and participation in society – all while helping people to stay safe and healthy.

"Communication with service users, their families and residents plays a big part in this work. It’s therefore vital for us to understand what the public thinks about our current communication arrangements."

Councillor Elin Walker Jones, Cyngor Gwynedd’s Cabinet Member for Children and Families, said:

"Understanding what are the best and most suitable ways for the Council's Social Services to communicate and share information with the public is very important.

"I therefore encourage anyone who is interested in sharing their views to do so by completing the questionnaire which is available online on the Cyngor Gwynedd website or in paper format, and to do so by 22 December 2023."
