The Gwynedd Youth Service Well-being Festival 2023 will be held between 20-24 March this year.

The aim of the Festival is to promote good mental health and well-being, with a host of activities including sessions on creativity, mental health, stress, circuit training, Lego, money matters, LGBT+ and more being held across Gwynedd for the county's young people.

Last year's Wellbeing Festival was a huge success which had a positive impact on the lives of the county's young people. Indeed, this was recognised at the 2022 Youth Work Excellence Awards ceremony with the Festival winning the award for 'Demonstrating excellence in partnership planning and delivery at a local level.’

Councillor Elin Walker Jones, Cyngor Gwynedd Cabinet Member with responsibility for Children and Young People, said:

"It’s great to see that this successful Festival is being held again this year. The Youth Service, our partners and the young people of the county have worked tirelessly to ensure that this year's Festival will be as successful as last year.

"So I encourage young people in the county to take part in the Festival and to find out what information and support is available to help them with their mental health and well-being in general."
