Come along to the launch of the OPUS Project in Gwynedd and Anglesey

A joint event has been arranged between Gwynedd Council’s OPUS Team and Anglesey Council’s OPUS Team to launch the projects on July 7, between 10am -12pm in the Arfon Leisure Centre, Caernarfon.

The purpose of this event is to launch the OPUS Project. OPUS is a project that gives individuals who have been out of work for over 12 months, over 25 year olds, and who want support and an  opportunity to improve their skills, education or want help and support to look for work, a chance.

The implementation of OPUS in North Wales has been developed to engage with individuals who are economically inactive and unemployed, those considered to be furthest from the labor market with a number of barriers to employment and bring them closer to the labor market. OPUS will provide support and interventions, and will equip participants with the appropriate skills for sustainable employment.

There will be an opportunity for an informal chat with the Gwynedd and Anglesey OPUS teams, a chance to meet participants, businesses, day centres and social enterprises who are working with both projects.

The teams will be available to discuss how OPUS is operating in both Counties and to answer any questions.

If you would like to advertise at the event please email opus@gwynedd.llyw.cymru or opusproject@anglesey.gov.uk to make a request.

OPUS is funded by the European Social Fund.
