During the week the trailer will visit various popular locations, with members of the team at hand to answer any questions. Tour locations will include the Maes in Caernarfon, Bangor High Street, leisure centres and local supermarkets.

Councillor Gareth Roberts, Gwynedd Council’s Cabinet Member for the Environment said:

“The trailer is a regular fixture all around Gwynedd, and offers a great opportunity for members of the public to meet the team, see the new and improved trailer and learn more about the weekly food waste collection in the little brown bins.

“This is our way of celebrating this important national week - Gwynedd recycles and composts very well at the moment, but we have much more work before we reach the national target of recycling and composting 52% of our waste by 2013.”
