Submitted planning applications

Find planning applications and track what's happening to them
It’s possible to view planning applications which have been submitted and track what's happening to them using the online Track and Trace planning applications system. The record in the system will be updated as the application proceeds through the various steps in the planning process:

You can go to our interactive map, choose 'Planning and Environment' and choose which applications you want to see. You can also go to Where I live, enter your post code and see the applications nearest to you.

Submit a comment on a planning application
The 21-day consultation period provides an opportunity for anyone to submit a comment on a planning application – either objecting to it or supporting it. It is only possible to submit a comment on a planning application during this period.

  • Track and Trace planning applications
You will need to search for the application you wish to comment on using the Track and Trace system, and then follow the link Submit a comment on this application in order to submit a comment.
