Before you submit a planning application we strongly recommend that you ask for pre-application advice from the Planning Service. You will also need to ensure that you have read and understood the Validation requirements. Submitting a planning application online
We recommend that you submit your planning application online using the Planning Portal website. All the information you need in order to submit your application is available on the website:
REMEMBER! If the development is within Snowdonia National Park, you will need to contact the Snowdonia National Park Authority not Gwynedd Council. To see whether the development is within the National Park, look at the map - Snowdonia National Park Area.
Submitting a planning application by post
You can download all the planning forms by opening the attachments in the table below. If you’re not sure which forms you need to complete, contact the Planning Service (details at the bottom of this page).
Remember to send the relevant information with your application. The Guidance Notes relevant to the application form list the documents you need, depending on the application. The links on the right hand side of the page may be of assistance in preparing your application.
