The Llwyddo yng Ngwynedd project can provide support to turn your idea into a reality.
To be eligible to receive the support, you must live within rural Gwynedd (any part of Gwynedd except for Bangor).
Business Bootcamps
People across Gwynedd are to be given the opportunity to attend a series of "Business Bootcamps" to encourage them to start up in business. The 2 hour sessions will be held in different businesses across the county. The Bootcamps will use innovative techniques to encourage participants to open their minds and identify new opportunities based on their interests, skills and resources. It will provide a springboard to access one to one business advice and possible financial assistance. For further information go to the Enable website.
The programme will be implemented through 4 projects which will be operational until December 2013:

(Note that the funding for the Enable Rural Toursim and rural economy have now been fully allocated. Financial assistance is still available thorugh the Farming families fund, for members of farming families wishing to diverisfy into non-agricultural activities)
Rural economy, rural tourism and farming families - this project offers practical support to new businesses, small existing businesses who are venturing to a new field, or community groups who are based on a farm. The support available includes: - practical support to develop skills and mentoring
- financial assistance, up to £50,000 (up to 50% of the total value of the project)
- support to develop growth ideas

Experience Gwynedd
This project will provide support for local communities to improve and benefit the environment, distinct ethos and virtue of the area to develop new packages of experience for visitors based on these assets. Practical and financial support (up to £10,000 and up to 80% of the total value of the project) will be given to 15 areas within the county to recognize, develop and market their community to visitors. The areas will be selected through an open competitive process.

Local Products
This project provides support for local producer businesses, whether food or drink businesses, craft producers or manufacturers to develop products of standard and to develop supply chains to reach present and new markets. Work to include:
- training sessions
- one to one support
- financial support for groups of producers, processors and suppliers that are going to trial a new way of reaching the market / new markets (up to £20,000 and up to 80% of the total value of the project)

Sustainable Communities
An innovate project that will break new ground to develop the health of the economy and the standard of life in Gwynedd rural communities. The project will provide intense support for five communities to pilot within the county to:-
- Host an audit of physical, natural and cultural assets
- Bursary worth £3,500 (up to 100% of the total value of the project) for the 5 Communities to commission a feasibility study
- Support to develop ideas
- Financial support (maximum of £80,000 and up to 80% of the total value of the project for each community) to operate the ideas
The aim of the project is to develop projects to increase the long term sustainability of their area by increasing the ability of local people to continue to live and work in the area through, for example; sharing community assets, discover new methods of developing services, develop local work opportunities, and so on.
The five communities across Gwynedd will be selected through a competitive process between May and September 2011.

Discover
This is a cooperation between Anglesey and Gwynedd, looking to build on the success of the Discover Gwynedd project (2009-2011). The project will include:
- A series of wildlife and nature sessions and events (some sessions will be tailored for children under 10, young people 16-30 and tourism businesses)
- Developing the Discover Gwynedd and Discover Anglesey websites, concentrating on promoting the wildlife and nature of both counties as a tourism tool.
