Gwynedd Council’s Recycling Trailer with be on tour in the Dwyfor and Meirionnydd areas of the county during the next few weeks.

The trailer will be visiting various popular locations, with members of the team at hand to answer any questions. The tour locations are:

  • Porthmadog Leisure Centre – Monday,13 August 10am – 4pm
  • Asda, Pwllheli – Wednesday, 15 August 10am – 4pm
  • Meironnydd County Show (Tywyn) – Wednesday, 22 August

Councillor Gareth Roberts, Gwynedd Council’s Cabinet Member for the Environment said:

“The trailer is a regular fixture all around Gwynedd, and offers a great opportunity for members of the public to meet the team, see the new and improved trailer and learn more about the weekly food waste collection in the little brown bins.

“By 2025 Gwynedd needs to recycle and compost 70% of our waste, which is a significant challenge. I would urge anyone that has the chance to visit the trailer, for us to work together and learn from each other’s experiences to reach this target.”
