Guided nature walk

Are interested in nature and eager learn more about local wildlife?

If so, why not join Gwynedd Council’s Biodiversity Team for a guided walk in Borth y Gest on Saturday 30 June.

All ages are welcome to this free event.  The walk will be led by Alison Hargrave (Gwynedd Council Pen Llŷn a’r Sarnau SAC Officer) and Adam Daniel (Gwynedd Council).

Alison Hargrave said:

“This fun and free event for all the family is a great way to get out and discover the secret world of Borth y Gest. If you want to discover why the area is so special and why creatures like the leatherback turtle visits the area then join us in Borth y Gest.”

“The rich biodiversity of the Pen Llŷn a’r Sarnau Special Area of Conservation is something all of  us can enjoy and celebrate. Gwynedd Council is committed to play a full part in sustaining the Special Area of Conservation, and this includes raising awareness of its importance and significance.

“This guided walk is an excellent way of generating interest among the public of what we have on our doorstep.”

We will meet at the Borth y Gest car park (SH565375) at 10:30am.  Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult.  The event will finish by about 12:30pm.
