The staff of Bangor Library has been recognised for the special contribution they have made in the service they provide for the public over the past year.
Gwynedd Council’s Library Service presents a prize to the staff of the library who have made the greatest progress in this important field over the past twelve months.
The 2010/11 award was presented to the Bangor Library staff at the service’s annual meeting. Gwenan Parry, Gwynedd Council Head of Customer Care praised all Bangor Library staff - both permanent and temporary staff – thanking them for their hard work and dedication in ensuring that Bangor Library is amongst the very best.
Hywel James, Gwynedd Council’s Principal Librarian added his thanks also to Rhiannon Clifford Jones, who has recently retired, for her hard work building an excellent foundation of care for library users and he wished Gwawr Williams who takes over as the Bangor Community Librarian well.
