The Gwynedd and Môn Vulnerable Adults Protection Forum is staging a conference to raise awareness of what measures are in place to ensure that adults are protected from  abuse.

To celebrate World Wide Elder Abuse Awareness Day on 15 June 2011, a conference highlighting these issues will be held at Canolfan Capel Ebeneser, Caernarfon. The conference will be an opportunity to launch the new Wales policy and procedures for the protection of vulnerable adults, as well as being an opportunity to hear from representatives from a range of statutory and third sector agencies.

The conference will be open to operational managers and staff from community care agencies, residential/nursing care providers and the third sector from Gwynedd and Ynys Mon.
