A journey to celebrate Un Nos Ola Leuad

As part of the 2011 World Book Day and in co-operation with Cwmni Bara Caws, a special literary journey will be held in a bus travelling around the villages and communities described in the Welsh language classic novel, Un Nos Ola Leuad on Saturday, 5 March.

The journey led by Dr John Elwyn Hughes will be a unique opportunity to learn about the area which appears in Caradog Prichard’s classic novel. Dr Hughes is the author of a number of books on Un Nos Ola Leuad.

The journey which will get underway at 2pm on Saturday, 5 March from the Bysus Gwyrdd Rhiwlas car park will be a special opportunity to get to know more about the background and the colourful characters depicted in the classic Un Nos Ola Leuad. The journey will take around three and a half hours, with a tea or coffee in Bethesda. The trip will arrive back at Pentir at around 5:30pm.
