Criccieth Festival is a week long event celebrating the arts in the picturesque town of Criccieth.

The variety of events on offer include concerts and recitals featuring different musical genres, a special concert for children, the annual Daid Lloyd George Memorial Lecture and literary events in association with Ty Newydd Llanystumdwy (National Writers Centre for Wales).

Over the years a number of internationally known ensembles and soloists have taken part and the 2007 Festival included performances by The New World Ensemble, Caryl Hughes and Joseph Middleton, Margaret Williams with the Rhos Male Voice Choir, the Sacconi String Quartet with David Campbell, soloists from the Cardiff International Academy of Voice, Billy Thompson, the Amigos and Huw Warren. Most events are staged at the Memorial Hall, one of the finest concert halls in north Wales however harpists Gwenan Gibbard and Harriet Earis also gave the first ever 'David of the White Rock' concert at Eglwys Ynyscynhaearn.
