A Public Exhibition will be held at the community hall in Clynnog Fawr next Wednesday, 28 November between 2pm and 8pm, where plans of the improvement to the 7.3km new carriageway from Aberdesach to Llanaelhaearn will be on display.

Representatives from Gwynedd Council and engineering contractor, Alfred McAlpine, who will be undertaking the improvement works, will be on hand to answer any queries from members of the public.

The improvement work is due to commence in January 2008 and it is expected that work should be completed in mid 2009. Once completed, the road will consist of 7.3km of new carriageway, and will also include a community route along the eastern side of the road. The significant improvements will also improve safety for road users and will promote green travel with the community route for cyclists and pedestrians.
