Parc Glynllifon’s Craft and Food Fair

Glynllifon Workshops
Glynllifon Workshops

The annual Craft and Food Fair will be held at Parc Glynllifon between 9 and 11 November.

The fair will be opened officially by Hywel Williams MP at 1pm on Friday, 9 November.  Because of its success over recent years, the fair has been extended over three days this year, giving more people the opportunity to come over to enjoy.

The fair is famous for its variety of stalls, and this year there will be a vast variety of unique Welsh craftwork, and quality Welsh foods for sale by producers such as Blas ar Fwyd Llanrwst,  Deri Môn fish and meat, Purple Moose Beer and much more.

As well as enjoying the fair, there will also be an opportunity to discuss chat with some of the artists at Glynllifon such as Ann Catrin Evans who is well known for her work at the Millennium Centre in Cardiff, and Paul Becket, a clock maker who has just returned from exhibiting his work abroad.

For the first time this year, the public can meet one of the new artists at Glynllifon, Angela Evans who produces jewellery of the highest standard.   Angela lives locally at Llandwrog and has had a workshop at Glynllifon since July this year.

Tom Gloster is another artist who is busy making name for himself by making pottery.  Tom’s pottery can be seen across Britain and is very popular with customers in at Glynllifon.

Gwynedd Roberts, Parc Glynllifon’s Manager said:

“This event is defiantly one of the most important in Parc Glynllifon’s calendar and attracts thousands of visitors each year. We look forward to welcome new businesses and visitors to this unique fair.“

Come to Parc Glynllifon and buy unique Christmas gifts between 11am and 5pm on 9 – 11 November.
