Criw Celf

What is Criw Celf?

An art club for children who have shown talent and/or a special interest in art. The scheme is divided into two parts; ‘Criw Celf Bach’ for children aged 7-11yrs old in Arfon, Meirionnydd and Dwyfor and ‘Criw Celf’ a county wide group for young people in year 7, 8 and 9. The Criw Celf programme is also available across north Wales and in other parts of Wales.

Why hold the club?

To offer children and young people an opportunity to develop their art skills with professional artists through the medium of master classes and workshops.

Who are the tutors?

The club employ experienced and professional artist who are experts in their artistic field to deliver our sessions.

What does Criw Celf include?

  • Members will be able to attend a program of one-day master classes in the company of professional artists who specialize in various art genres.
  • Art trips to various locations.
  • Each child will receive an art pack containing various quality art materials. The purpose of providing these packs will be to enable the children to practice drawing at home.
  • An exhibition of the children's artwork.

Is there a charge?

Most of the scheme is funded by the Local Authorities of north Wales, but every child will be required to pay an annual membership fee.
