Sports Development

Football

We want everyone who lives in Gwynedd to have the opportunity to take part in sport activities that are suitable for them. 

There are a number of courses, grants and schemes available, and information about them can be found in this section.



School’s Sports
As part of the Active Young People scheme, there are opportunities for primary and secondary pupils and teachers to develop their skills through the Dragon Sport, 5x60 and PESS initiatives. Information can be found in the school sport's pages.


Sports grant

There are a number of grants available to support sports clubs and individuals in Gwynedd.  Information about the various grants can be found in the sports grants pages.

Disability Sports
In partnership with Disability Sport Wales, we can provide opportunities and assistance for clubs and individuals with disabilities throughout Gwynedd. For more information visit Disability Sport Wales' website.

Find a Sports Club
There are a number of establishments who specialise in different sports, including rugby, football, cricket, tennis, sailing, gymnastics and much more.  Find a sports club near you.
