Take your seat for Gwynedd's prestigious business event

Gwynedd Business Awards
Gwynedd Business Awards

The judging panel have been inundated with entries, and after such a wonderful response it’s time to set our sights once more on this year’s Gwynedd Business Awards Gala Ceremony.

The ceremony will be held on Thursday, 24 May, 2007 at the Celtic Royal Hotel, Caernarfon, and as well as offering an opportunity to recognise and celebrate some of the county’s best examples of entrepreneurship and good business practice, the event should also prove to be a valuable opportunity to network, exchange ideas and experiences and meet other members of Gwynedd’s business sector.

In the true spirit of the event, attendees can enjoy a sumptuous four-course dinner reflecting the best of local produce. Also included in the ticket price will be a champagne reception on arrival and live entertainment courtesy of renowned jazz singer Lleuwen Steffan and her band Acoustique.

With 13 categories this year – including two Business of the Year Awards (for companies with a turnover of over £1 million and less than £1 million respectively) and an Award given by Gwynedd Business Network to recognise a special contribution by an individual to business life in Gwynedd - Gwynedd Business Awards will be the pinnacle of Gwynedd Business Week, held 21-24 May.  This is only the second year the Awards will be held, and considering the number of entries to reach the judges the event promises to be just as successful this year.

Sioned Williams, Head of Economy and Regeneration at Gwynedd Council said: “Gwynedd Business Awards provides a wonderful opportunity for members of Gwynedd’s business sector to get together and celebrate local achievement. Gwynedd is a great place to live and a great place to do business, and the Awards is a chance to recognise and celebrate this. It also provides an excellent networking opportunity, to meet like-minded business people and to share experiences and forge new alliances.

“Last year, all kinds of businesses from all over the county were awarded, and this reflected the diversity of our indigenous businesses and the nature of the local economy. Once again this year we will be recognising the achievements of all types of businesses from all types of sectors across Gwynedd.”

So make the most of the opportunity and secure your seat at the Gala Awards Ceremony and Dinner. Tickets are priced at £50 + VAT with special rates for tables of 10. Tickets can be purchased either by contacting the 2007 Gwynedd Business Awards team on 01286 685254 or 01286 685212.
