Having trouble paying your bill?

If you have difficulty paying your Council Tax in the current economic climate, it is all important that you contact the Taxation Service to see if anything can be done to help you.

Each case is dealt with individually, it is difficult to give details here of help that may be considered. It may be that a special payment arrangement outside of the statutory scheme can be offered, advise on discount or advise for you to make an application for Council Tax Benefit. Further information on Benefits can be found on Housing and Council Tax Benefit on this website, where there are further links to external sites which may offer further assistance.

If you have other debts in addition to Council Tax which cause you concern, you are strongly advised to contact CAB Gwynedd who provide free debt advice. You can also contact them on their 24 hour helpline  0845 2416670.
