Discover the life and times of David Lloyd George in the Museum and Highgate, his boyhood home. Lloyd George was one of the greatest statesmen of the twentieth century - he introduced the old age pension, he led the country as Prime Minister during World War I and he gave women the vote - but failed to solve the Irish question.
In the Museum you can see the unique display of objects, a film about his life, the astonishing 'talking head', a Victorian schoolroom, library, an internet access point and shop have been opened. Highgate has been recreated as it was when Lloyd George lived there between 1864-1880 as well as his uncle's shoemaking workshop. You can also enjoy the Victorian cottage garden.
