North Wales Rover

The North Wales Rover is a zonal ticket incorporating the whole of North Wales, and allows travel on all local bus services (1-99, X1) in the Gwynedd area (including the Snowdon Sherpa) together with other local bus and train services throughout North Wales.

Zones, identification letters, area valid

There are 8 zones in total across North Wales:

A - Isle of Anglesey.

G - Gwynedd North (the Arfon and Dwyfor areas of Gwynedd, up to and including Porthmadog).

M - Gwynedd South (the Meirionnydd area of Gwynedd which includes Blaenau Ffestiniog).

C - county of Conwy.

D - county of Denbighshire.

F - county of Flintshire and railway stations on the Borderlands line from Shotton to Bidston, and bus services from Flintshire to Ellesmere Port.

W - Chester and Wrexham, rail and bus services to and from Chester (routes to/from North Wales and Gobowen and bus services from Wrexham to Whitchurch, Gobowen and Oswestry).

X - Ceredigion North (all rail stations Machynlleth to Dovey Junction/Aberystwyth, and bus routes from Gwynedd South to/from Machynlleth/Aberystwyth).
